Return to the Center, there’s a message for you…

CONCEPT
It is an interactive installation, where the public does not contemplate the work, but it is allowed to act in it, by opening some spheres in which a message is contained. The installation is addressed to the unconscious and to the mind of the public, with the aim of awakening the awareness of being. The action of opening the sphere is a ritual  that allows to the actor  to enter through the sacredness to go at the center of the self discovering a message hide in the sphere. It is a transformative experience.  The energy of the central point becomes an irresistible impulse to become what one is. This is where I started to create an installation that becomes for the visitor a rite of passage

DESCRIPTION OF THE INSTALLATION
The installation occupied a space that measures 4 x 4 m consists of a circle of black sand placed on the floor for about 1.5 m in diameter in which a mirror sphere of the diameter of 40 cm emerges from the center, all around spheres in transparent plexiglass (about 14 cm of diameter) containing messages written on rolled sheets of paper. The visitor is invited to collect the spheres and to read the message contained. Around the sand circle in the four directions four 50 x 50 cm elements complete the installation. They represent the path made by man through the different ages: golden age, bronze age, copper age, and the journey in the duality between masculine and feminine between logic and creativity.

THE MESSAGES
The messages consist of questions, quotations and poems that invite the visitor to
ask himself where is and what is own center. The installation is accompanied by sounds that evoke atmospheres very meditative and rarefied.
