The Sacred Circle
21,32 x 21,32 ft | 6,5 x 6,5 m
Installation: music, rose's petals, pillows, acrylic colors and acrylic modeling past on canvas - Studio14 for Muse Museum Trento - Italy
2013
It is a site-specific installation that occupies the entire space of the Spazio14 Theater’s “Black Room” in Trento – Italy.
This installation was realized on 26-27 July 2013 for the pre-opening of the Muse – Museum of Science. The work is connected with the shape of the circle and its different uses – from the tribal circle to the wheel. Visitors are invited to sit around a center in contemplation with music and sounds in the background, so that they can experience the sacred space of their center. They enter the installation walking a ritual path through a dark tunnel to eventually find a central point that becomes an irresistible source of attraction where they can give birth to themselves.
